MELBOURNE, FLA. – August 3, 2007: Come join MCT for a romantic night full of comedy Romantic Comedy, written by Bernard Slade and Directed by Chris Knox, focuses on Phoebe Craddock and Jason Carmichael, playwrights who meet and decide to collaborate just as he is getting married. Their relationship produces first a failure and then a string of successes, and their repartée remains sharp and witty as their unrequited interest in each other gathers energy over a nine-year period, until some resolution finally is in sight. Slade adapted his play in 1983 for a feature film starring Dudley Moore, Mary Steenburgen, and Frances Sternhagen You can see Romantic Comedy August 17 – September 2, 2007. Performances on Fridays and Saturdays are at 8 p.m. and Sundays are at 2 p.m. Tickets are available through the MCT box office by calling 321.723.6935, and are $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, and $10 for students, children and military.
