MELBOURNE, FLA. - Loaded with pun after pun, you'll be laughing 'til the cows come home in this hysterical 'mellerdrammer,’ The Veggie Villain… or He Had a Steak in It. Melbourne Civic Theatre brings Vaudeville to Melbourne with its newest play, featuring characters such as Patty Melt, Lily Livered, and Frank Furter. These characters get caught up in a whirlwind adventure of courtship and inheritance in the meat-loving town of Tee Bone, Texas. Will our hero Chuck Roast save the day and wed our vegetarian damsel Mary Nated? Or will our villain Artie Choke get away with the bride and her bovine friends? You can find out on February 1-18, 2007. Performances on Thursdays through Saturdays are at 8 p.m. and Sundays are at 2 p.m. Tickets are available through the MCT box office by calling 321.723.6935, and are $15 for adults, $13 for senior citizens, and $10 for students and children.
