Dance Clinic for Cabaret

An iconic element of the musical Cabaret is the choreography and dance stylings of the legendary Bob Fosse. Through four sessions in this dance clinic, attendees will become familiar with this style and build endurance. The classes will include a warm-up, strength and technique conditioning, and choreographed routines. The combinations taught will not be the choreography used in the show.

This class is welcome to dancers of all experience levels and genders; however participants must be ages 18 and up. Space is limited and offered on a first come first served basis. Tuition includes all four sessions and is nonrefundable. In the event the class reaches capacity, we will consider adding a second session.

PLEASE NOTE PARTICIPATION IN THE CLASS DOES NOT GUARANTEE BEING CAST IN MCT’S PRODUCTION OF CABARET. You do not have to attend this clinic to audition for Cabaret, auditions
are open to anyone.

Auditions for Cabaret will be held at Melbourne Civic Theatre on Sunday and Monday, June 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., the show will run from Aug. 4-Sept. 10. More information will be provided about auditions at a later date.
